Stewart E. Chambers
1947-2022
Born in Hartland, NB on January 25, 1947, the eldest son of Greville
and Barbara Chambers. Leaves behind wife of 51 years, Edwina,
daughters Stephanie Nasmith (Mark) and Tracy Chambers (Travis), and
grandchildren Sophie, Jack, and Meghan, siblings Janine Rose, Sylvia
Lloyd, and Neil Thornton, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Pre-deceased by father Grev Chambers, mother Barbara Thornton,
stepmother Avis Chambers, and brother David Chambers.
After working at General Motors in Oshawa for 30 years, Stewart
retired and moved back to NB. He enjoyed the simple things in life
including riding his motorcycle, morning coffee with his buddies, and
tinkering in his shop. Summers were spent at North Lake where he
enjoyed boating, skiing, card games, sunsets, campfires, and
hunting.
Heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the many friends who were so good in
helping Stewart through his journey with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Many thanks also to the staff at Carleton Manor above and beyond.
No visitation or service at this time. Graveside service and burial at
a later date in Williamstown Cemetery. Donations can be made to the
Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.

  1. I just found about the passing of Stewart from his wife Eddie! I would like to express my condolences to the family! RIP-Steward! My memories of Stewart are on north lake in his ski boat and with his family! Gone but not forgotten my friend!
