Steve Viljevac passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022 at the age of 68 years. He is survived by three children; Tessa and her children Aiden and Drake, Ronnie Deelstra (Rosemary), and Greg Viljevac (Lisa) and their children Nina & Aria. Steve is also survived by his brother Zlatko Viljevac (Denise) and their children Natalie and Daniel, all of London, ON; a sister Kathy Pratte (Corey) and their children Taylor, Colton, Carson and Brady, all of Saskatoon; and many other relatives and friends.
Steve was predeceased by his parents Vilim & Mara Viljevac.
Steve was born and raised in Zagreb, Croatia. At age 13, war was ravaging his beloved homeland and he fled to safety making Toronto, Canada his home. In his mid 20s, Steve moved across the country to Calgary and has resided here since. For many years, Steve worked in a machine shop, followed by a long time employment at an auto wrecker. Steve loved watching sports, especially Soccer “Football”. He also had a great love of music, especially rock and heavy metal and attended many concerts through the years. Steve deeply valued the relationships he had that were close to him. We will miss his presence and love.
Private family services will be held. Cremation at Foothills Crematorium.
