STEVENS WILLIAM HENRY 2022

August 24, 1945 – September 6, 2022
William Henry was born in Shoal Cove East to Gracie and Porter Stevens on August 24, 1945. William Henry was a fisherman most of his life. William Hen and his mother went to the Caines’ home in Forrester’s point for a few nights and that’s where he met the love of his life, Sadie Taylor. In 1967 they bought a home and moved to Shoal Cove East where they raised their two daughters.
Left to mourn with loving memories are his Wife, Sadie; Daughters, Patsy (Dennis), Marion (Absalom); Grandson, Troy (Virginia).
He is predeceased by his Parents, Gracie and Porter Stevens as well as his Grandson, Sylvester William.
The family would like to extend their thanks to all those who have helped in any way.
Visitation to take place from St. Thomas Anglican Church in Sandy Cove beginning the evening of Sunday, 11, 2022. The family service will be held on Monday, September 11, 2022 at 8:00 pm. The funeral will take place the following day at 2:00 pm with Rev. Canon Short officiating, interment to follow in Savage Cove Cemetery.
