It is with heavy hearts that we share the peaceful passing of Steve “Stevie” Villeneuve at home surrounded by his family on Saturday February 12th in his 66th year. Loving husband of Janet (Stanley), caring father of Holly and Andy (Amber). Proud and cherished “Poppy” to his grandchildren Austin, Arian, Brock, Jade & Blaire. Predeceased by his parents Claude and Cecile and his brothers Donald, Martin, Michael and Norman. Survived by his brother Danny (Diane). He will be dearly missed by the entire Stanley family and loyal friend Elvin. Steve will be remembered as a MacGyver of all trades. He loved hockey, football, John Wayne and all things horses. Despite the pain and serious medical complications, Steve still came out a hero to his family and stayed strong until the end. To honour Steve’s wishes, a private family gathering will be held at a later date.
