Unexpectedly, at the Lennox and Addington County Hospital in Napanee on Monday, July 4, 2022. Steven George Downing of Bath at age 61. Beloved husband of Gale Thompson and dear father of Lacey Downing and grandfather to Max Green. Dear son of George Downing (Sandra) of Erinsville and son-in-law of Kenneth and Rita Thompson of Ingleside and pre-deceased by his mother Phyllis Downing. Brother of Kevin Downing and Jeffrey Downing of Kingston. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family. The family will receive friends at the Hannah Funeral Home in Napanee at 123 Dundas Street West (613-354-3341) on Friday, July 8 from 10 a.m. until 12:00 noon. A family graveside service will follow at Catarqui Cemetery in Kingston. Memorial donations made to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
