Obituary of Steve Campbell
CAMPBELL – Stephen Mark of St Thomas passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at the age of 57. Steve “Chester”, P.Eng, was truly an inspiration to everyone who knew him. He exuded stoicism, resilience, tolerance, patience, perseverance, stamina and displayed limitless courage. Despite all, he was able to remain positive, caring, compassionate and never lost his ability to make us chuckle with his one liners and witty sense of humour. He left a lasting impact on everyone that came into his life, even if only briefly, all easily bonded with him, he became very special and loved by so many throughout his journey. The world has lost an extraordinary human being, he truly made a difference. He was a hero to us all, and always will be. Steve will be deeply missed by his wife Patricia Campbell (nee Boni); and by his children; Jordann and Liam Campbell. He will remain in loving memory by his brothers Dave and Jeff Campbell and by his parents Ross and Marion Campbell. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). If desired, donations to Spinal Cord Injury Ontario would be appreciated.
