Obituary
SIBA, Steve Joseph
August 9, 1931 – May 25, 2022.
Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family in his 91st year. Predeceased by his
loving wife Monica (Bisson) and his son Steve Jr. Survived by daughter in law Jayne, Sue
Darnell (Kevin), Sally Niece (Nobber), Marc (Julie), Doris Brennan (Paul) and Rachel Smyth-
Macdonald (Tom). Beloved papa to Lindsay, Troy, Amber, Krysten, Joel, Brandon, Miranda,
Erica, Jeremy, Dylan and Rebecca. Will be greatly missed by his 13 great grandchildren. Also
remembered by his sister Margaret Leishman (John), brother John (Linda) and sister in law
Charlotte and many nieces and nephews. Steve worked as a stationary engineer at INCO
followed by a second career at CASCO. He served his community as a volunteer firefighter and
spent many summers on the field as an umpire. He will be greatly missed by his fellow AA
members, where he celebrated over thirty years of sobriety. In keeping with his wishes,
cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to visit Davidson Funeral Home, 135
Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Tuesday May 31, 2022 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at The Parish Community of St. Kevin 303 Niagara St. Welland on Wednesday June 1, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart
