Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Steve Jadoo of Quispamsis, NB on May 25, 2022. Born in Trinidad on August 21, 1955, he was a son of the late John and Hyacinth Jadoo. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Steve will be deeply missed by his loving wife Elizabeth (Attong) Jadoo; his daughter Shannon Jadoo of Quispamsis; his grandchildren: Quentin and Hudson Clarke who totally adored him. He is survived by his sister Jillian Singh of Etobicoke, ON; his brothers-in-law Michael Kangaloo and Bunny Singh; his nieces and nephews: Allan, Melissa, Anastasia, Demetrius, Amanda and Adrian; and his great-nieces and great-nephews: Davy, Maegan, Salia, Kai and Aria. As well as his parents, Steve was predeceased by his siblings: Dave Jadoo, Susan Kangaloo, and Simon Peter Jadoo.
Steve worked at the Saint John Refinery as a Senior Project Controls Specialist since 2005 and he will be deeply missed by his work family. Outside of work Steve was an avid cyclist, spending many hours in the saddle year-round. Steve was also a keen runner having competed in nine marathons, including the Boston Marathon and the Disney Goofy Challenge run. He was a welcoming and motivating force to all who knew him, and inspired many to take up or keep running or biking.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB. Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 1, 2022 from 6-8 PM. A Celebration of Steve’s Life will be held on Thursday June 2, 2022 at 11:00 AM in Fundy Funeral Home Chapel. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
