Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Stephen Patrick Dollimount announce his passing in Corner Brook, NL on Saturday, April 23rd, 2022 at the age of 72 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife of 48 years, Judy; daughter: Lori Hynes (Randy); grandchildren: Ryley and Madison Hynes, pop’s treasures; mother: Florence Dollimount; sister: Priscilla Dollimount; brothers: Gord Dollimount (Debby), Audie Dollimount (Jenny) and Sam Dollimount (Linda); sisters-in-law: Joan Young and Dianne White (Brian); brothers-in-law: David Russell (Pauline), Ed Russell, Gary Russell, Brendon Russell (Donna), Gerard Hackett (Mary) and Wally Young; as well as many other friends and relatives. He was predeceased by his father: Arthur Dollimount; father and mother-in-law: Ronald and Marjorie Russell; sister-in-law: Helen Hackett; brother-in-law: Ronnie Russell.
The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to Dr. Philip Morris and Angela for all the years of great care. Thank you also to Dr. Connors, Dr. Pomeroy, Dr. Gould and the community support team.
As per Stephen’s request, cremation has taken place. A private visitation for family and friends will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, April 27th, 2022 at 1:00 PM, from where a funeral service will take place at 2:00 PM with Father Jim Robertson officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
The family is requesting that masks be worn to both visitation and funeral services.
