Stephen Melanson
1955-2022
Stephen Melanson of Moncton passed away peacefully at the
Moncton Hospital with his family by his side on Saturday, May 21,
2022. Born in Moncton he was the son of the late Gerald and
Betty (Sunborg) Melanson.
He was employed with NB Power for over 25 years. Stephen had
a passion for sports especially baseball which he played for many
years.
Stephen being a devoted father and grandfather will be dearly
missed by his daughters Michelle Melanson (Dave O’Connell),
Nicole Duncan (Ben Lamkey); sisters Loretta Devona (Chuck), Nancy
Melanson (Phil Savard), Betty Lou Melanson; brothers Gary Melanson
(Marie), Teddy Melanson (Susan), Tommy Melanson (Jenny), Gordie
Melanson; grandchildren Morgan, Rylan, Cole, Allison, Aryanna and
Ava.
Aside from his parents he was predeceased by his sister Patsy
Melanson and brother Garth Melanson.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later
date. His arrangements have been entrusted to
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine
Road, Riverview (869-2007). Donations made to a charity of
the donor’s choice would be appreciated by his
family.
