Stephen J. Fraser
1944 – 2022
Stephen James Fraser of Miramichi and formerly of Bay du Vin passed away at Bridgeview Hall, Miramichi on January 31, 2022 at the age of 77.
Born in Chatham, on October 29, 1944, he was the son of the late George and Allison (Gulliver) Fraser. Stephen moved to Ontario at a young age and worked for CNR for a few years before returning home to Bay du Vin and working at Carpentry.
He is survived by one daughter, Angela Fraser of Calgary, AB; two sons: Michael Fraser (Jung-Hee Shin) of Miramichi and Kevin Fraser (Emily) of Calgary, AB; two grandchildren: Keira Fraser and Keegan Kennedy; one sister, Karen Fraser (Hamilton) (Bill) of Fredericton; two brothers: Wayne Fraser (Karen) of Miramichi and Glenn Fraser (Tammy) of Fredericton. He was predeceased by his parents, one sister, Doris Fraser and one brother, George Fraser Jr.
There will be no visitation held. A private funeral service will be held at Adams Funeral Home Chapel at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
