Obituary
It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Steve Fagan who passed away peacefully surrounded by family at St. Clare’s hospital.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Leaving to mourn his wife Sadie of 54 years; children Beverley and Stephen (Karen); grandchildren Riley, Sarah and Matthew; siblings Edmund (Kathleen), Madonna, Patsy, Doreen, Ann and special fur buddy Celti.
Predeceased by parents Joseph and Catherine Fagan; son Barry; brothers Ronald and Joseph.
Steve and Sadie lived and worked in Wabush, Labrador for 32 years. Steve with Wabush Mines and Sadie with CWJ Memorial Hospital. Both retired 22 years ago to Mount Pearl and enjoyed spending time with their beloved cherished grandchildren.
Steve’s friends and family remember him fondly as being a gentle and kind person who loved his family dearly.
The family would like to send a heart felt thank you to Dr. D. O’Keefe, Dr M. Paul Nephrology and Renal nurse Paula. As well as staff at 4 West St. Clares.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice or kidney foundation.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place on Monday, March 14th, Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl from 2-4pm and7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday March 15th at 11:00am from Barrett’s Chapel, Mount Pearl. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. The service will be livestream and a link will be found on the main page of Barrett’s Website.
