Stephen Daniel “Danny” Charlton
1932-2022
Danny Charlton passed away in Valley Hospice,
Kentville on Saturday, March 26, 2022. He was born in North
Williamston, the youngest son of the late Fred and Hazel Charlton, on
July 29, 1932. He was a charter member of the Coldbrook Lions Club. He
is survived by his wife, Ellen (Zwicker); daughters, Donna (Bob)
MacPhail and Janet (Rob) Kennedy; granddaughters, Alicia Kennedy (Cam
Johnson), Danielle (Andrew) Kingsbury, Liz (BJ) Cochrane; grandson,
Drew MacPhail (Mariella Nalepa); great grandchildren, Selena Kelly and
Campbell Cochrane. He was predeceased by his sisters, Eileen (Archie)
Bezanson and Vera (Gordon) Height; brothers, Russell (Connie), Ron,
Perley and Harold. He is survived by sisters-in-law, Betty and Edera
Charlton as well as nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and
there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in memory
may be made to the Valley Hospice Foundation. We would like to thank
the staff of Valley Hospice for the wonderful care during the last
four weeks, as well as Dr. Ross and Dr. Jenna McNeil. Funeral
arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and
Cremation Services, Kentville.
