Stella Fox Bridges Braden – age 75, of Knoxville, TN passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022. Stella was a member of Emory Valley Baptist Church. She loved crafts and flowers. Stella was very willful but had a tender heart. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She is preceded in death by husband, Cecil Bridges; her parents, Leonard and Pearl Fox; brothers, Charles, Clarence and Lloyd Fox; Sisters, Ruby Nelson, Margie Metcalf and 2 infant sisters. She is survived by husband, Raymond Calvin Braden; sons, Terry (Starla) Bridges, Dennis (Kim) Bridges; daughters, Vicki Easterday, Melanie DeFord (Al); sisters, Wanda Nelson (JD) and Doris Webber; grandchildren, Brian (Alex), Lauren (Blake), Alicia (Michael), Jana, Chad (Olivia), Aubrey, Drew, Christopher (Taylor), Jeremy, Logan, Stephen, Tiffany; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, Julian, Braden, Owen, Seth, Kingston, Ellie. Many nieces and nephews and very special niece, Barbara Metcalf. Visitation will be held at Bridges Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 with funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm with Reverend Doug Fielden and Reverend Richard Nicley. Family and Friends will meet at Bridges Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 10:15 am and will process to Greenwood Cemetery for an 11:00 am interment. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
