Obituary of Stanley “Peter” Brown
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Stanley “Peter” Brown of Tofield, AB on May 21, 2022 at the age of 85 years.
Peter was born on November 17, 1936, to Keitha Marion (nee Lee) and Stanley Brown. Peter loved life for 85 years.
He was a farmer and caretaker of the land, and loved his family deeply. Through his involvement with the Gas Co-Op, Blackfoot Grazing Association, Rural Crime Watch, Busy B Bargains, 4H, and Scouts, Peter worked to make his community a better place. He was always ready to help a neighbour. Peter passed his love of the land and pride in your work not only to his children but to many others as well. Nothing made him prouder than the accomplishments of his family. His struggle with heart disease ended peacefully on Saturday, May 21st, 2022.
Peter is survived by his wife of 60 years, Yvonne; his children Daniel (Teresa), Douglas (Lori), Dale (Alissa), Deanna (Steve); his grandchildren Jon (Morgan), Rebecca, Lee, Devin, Matthew, Carson, Anna, Jack, Colton (Kelsey), Jorden, Kailin, Riley, Aurora, James, and Odessa. As well as his sisters Irene and Betty, and a wide extended family. He was predeceased by his parents Keitha and Stanley; his brother Kenneth and sister Marguerite. Peter will be deeply missed.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 11th, 2022 at the Tofield Community Hall.
