DITNER
Stanley Paul Ditner, formerly of Mildmay, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Village Seniors Community in Hanover on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at the age of 84.
Beloved husband of Eleanor (nee Walters) Ditner of Hanover for almost 60 years. Loving father of Dave (Theresa) Ditner of Point Clark and Laurie (Pat) Reinhart of Elmira. Much loved grandfather (“Papa”) of Shawn (Chloe) Reinhart and Craig Reinhart. Step grandfather of Roy (Stephanie) Reif. Cherished great grandfather (“Papa Stan”) to Carter and Eloise Reinhart. Step great grandfather of Margot and Poppy Reif. Brother of Shirley (Seigi) Kopp and Cleo (Frank) O’Malley all of Kitchener. Brother in law of Ruth Ditner of Walkerton, Ross (Linda) Walters of Hanover, Irene (Lorne) Kieffer of Mildmay and Shirley (Doug) Schwehr of Hanover. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Paul and Mae Ditner, brother Don Ditner, in laws Murray and Dorothy Walters and sister in law Lillian Delucchi.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mildmay on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 11 am. The family requests all those attending both visitation and services to please wear a mask. Cremation has taken place.
