Stanley Czerkas Friday March 18th 2022

Stanley Czerkas
November 15, 1948 – March 18, 2022
In loving memory of Stanley (“Stan”) Czerkas, who passed on Friday, March 18, 2022 at the age of 73 years. Stan was a cherished husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, and he will be deeply missed. Beloved husband and best friend of Beverly Hodgins for 42 years. Father to Melinda Morningstar (predeceased). Stepfather to Michelle Gauthier (Doug), Don Gauthier (Gina), and Michael Gauthier (Lara). Grandfather to Casey, Alex, Elisabeth, Kaitlyn, Megan, Nicholas and Liliana. Brother to John (predeceased) (Lou Ann), Krys (Cliff), Miro (Connie), Steve (predeceased), Ray (Sue), Eddie (Mimi), Henry (Joanne), Suzy (Dave), and Cindy. Stan also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Son of Aleksander and Janina (nee Slowinska) (both predeceased).
Stan enjoyed spending time with his family, and loved his work and his ‘work family’ at Glencore, where he practiced as a Master Electrician. He had many interests, not the least of which was fishing wherever the best fish were biting, and also loved spending time with his ferrets. He was a master-builder who could imagine, build and fix almost anything.
In accordance with Stan’s wishes, there will be no formal service. He will be interred at Civic Memorial Cemetery, where his cremains will rest in the mausoleum.
Arrangements entrusted to Sudbury Park Lawn Cremation Services.
