ADAMS, Stanley William “Stan” 1921 – 2022 – passed away at the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home, Simcoe on Friday, January 28th, 2022 in his 101st year. Cherished father of Gwen Debicki (Rick) of Simcoe. Loving grandfather & great grandfather of Elisa Bettini (Robert), their son Jacob; Andrea Curado (Mike Smith); and Laura Debicki. Predeceased by his brother Arthur Adams (late Dorothy). Lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews & extended family. Stan served with the Royal Canadian Army during WWII with the Lord Strathcona Tank Regiment. After the war he joined the Lorne Scots Militia, discharging in 1974 with the rank of Sergeant. He was a member of the Army & Navy Club, the Phoenix Club and the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 158 Port Dover. A private funeral, “by invitation only” will be held with Rev. Brian Elder officiating. The JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3 in care of arrangements. Those wishing to donate in memory of Stan are asked to consider the Simcoe & District Humane Society or a charity of one’s choice. Donations may be mailed to the Jason Smith Funeral Chapel.
