Obituary of Stafford Herbert Winsor
Surrounded by his family, Stafford Winsor of Grand Falls-Windsor, passed away peacefully after a lengthy Illness at the Central Newfoundland Hospital and the Carmelite Pallative Care Unit, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL at the age of 79.
He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Greta Winsor; sister Margaret and brother William.
Stafford leaves to mourn the love of his life of 60 years, Pauline (nee Poole); son Reg (Michele Williams); Daughters: Lillian (Russell Morris), Darlene (Trevor Philpott), Barbara (Roger Goobie) and Cynthia (Allan Wheaton). He had seven grandchildren who he loved very much: Terri Lynn Philpott, Colton Philpott, Kyle Morris, Devin Morris, Brady Barry, Kyle Goobie and Zachery Wheaton. He also had one special great grandchild, Teddy Barry who he loved dearly. He also leaves to mourn his three brothers: Syndey, Bernard and Clifford.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Central Newfoundland Hospital and the Carmelite House that loved and cared for their father.
As expressions of sympathy, donations in his memory can be made to the Exploits Search and Rescue, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
Visitation will take place on Monday, January 24, 2022 from 7-9 p.m. in Grand Falls-Windsor. Please call 489-5100 to book visitation time slot. A private family service will take place on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Hoskins Funeral Home in Grand Falls-Windsor. NLVax Pass and Photo ID will be required upon arrival.
