It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Sofia on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at the age of 92. Devoted and loving wife of Carlos for 57 years. Much loved mother of Jose and his wife Tina-Louise. Cherished and proud Nana of Josephine-Louise and her husband Kim Marquis and daughter Sanaii, Christopher, Brandon and his partner Michelle, Emily-Elizabeth and her great-granddaughter Rose. Sofia will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and friends in Canada and Portugal. Resting at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue, Toronto (North of Rexdale Boulevard), on Friday, April 8, 2022 from 3 p.m. until service time in the funeral home chapel at 4 p.m. Online condolences at newediukfuneralhome.com
