We are saddened to announce the passing of Scott Munro Smith (June 22, 1962 – Aug 29th, 2022), beloved father, father-in-law, grandfather, uncle, and friend.
Scott was predeceased by his mother (Anne Campbell), father (William Smith), and brother (Gregory Smith). He was a beloved father and father-in-law of Adam Smith and Tarah Carr-Smith, adored Granpa Scott to Alistair and Kingsley, and a devoted companion to Veronica Vunic. He will be missed by his former wife and Adam’s mother Diane Lewis, as well as his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He loved a good laugh, a bad movie, and a better book. His greatest joy, Adam and his grandsons, as well as his friends and family, will remember their all too short time with Scott with immense love and gratitude.
“The bird that was trapped has flown
The road that was blocked has no end
The heart that is hurt will mend”
– James Robertson, Scottish Poet
A Celebration of Scott’s life will be held at Kane & Fetterly (5301 Bd Décarie, Montréal, QC H3W 3C4) on Oct 2 from 14h – 16h.
