Tatay Nando was known to many as the “macho man”; always in “dressed-to-kill” mode; a man in dark sunglasses even at night. He preferred to carry a heavy load of groceries and take the bus rather than asking for rides. Simple pleasures in life brought great joy to him. Chess was one of his many passions, as well as his love affair with Hershey chocolates and chocolate ice cream. Tatay Nando’s cheerful attitude will be missed by all. We will always honor his legacy.
