HATTLMANN, Sidney –
Today we announce the sad passing of an incredible man, Sid Hattlmann on July 9, 2022 at the age of 83. Sidney or “Zednek” from his native Czech background was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend to all. He was the owner of a successful commercial construction entrepreneurship for many years. My father had a passion for many hobbies and sports, namely formula one racing, tennis, photography, nature, and wood working. My fondest memory was his beautiful pictures of polar bears. Dad, you will be missed and truly cherished by your wife Rachael and son Kevin, in addition to the many friends and other families you have touched and impacted over the years. As your son, I have solace to know you are reunited with your brother John and mother Mary. We invite guests to join us for visitation on Wed., July 13, 2022 at W.C. Town Funeral Chapel, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby. 12 – 2pm will be reserved for family only. Friends are encouraged to join us from 4 – 6pm. If desired, donations in Sid’s memory may be made to the Lakeridge Health Foundation, Wildlife Conservation Society of Canada or Polar Bears International.
