Obituary
Passed peacefully away at Pleasant View Towers at the age of 80 years on March 3, 2022 Shirley May Bradley.
Predeceased by her Mother and Father, Clarence & Christina Taylor; Mother & Father in-law, Albert & Pearl Bradley; Daughter in-law, Donna Bradley (Jim), special Uncle and Aunt, Art & Jessie Taylor, and special Aunt Anne Boyce.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 60 years, Jim Bradley; Sons, Garry (Lana) & Jim; Grandchildren: Brendan, Katie & Jenna. Brother, Robert Taylor; Sister in law, Madeline Taylor; nephews: Art (Cathy) Taylor & Shawn Taylor, niece Janice Taylor and a large circle of family & friends.
Shirley was a long-term employee of the Provincial Government (Dept of Justice). Shirley enjoyed bowling and loved being with her bowling buddies every week. She also loved gardening, spending time in her greenhouse and weekends at the cabin. She also enjoyed her annual vacations in Florida.
Shirley and husband Jim spent many nights in their earlier years skating at Memorial Stadium and the Prince of Wales Arena.
Visitation will take place at Barretts Funeral Home, Commonwealth Ave., Mount Pearl on Sunday, March 6th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm and Monday March 7th from 10-00am to 12 noon.
Funeral service to take place on Monday, March 7 that 2 pm at the Church of the Ascension, on Smallwood Drive, Mount Pearl. As per government regulation, proof of vaccination and masks are required.
To register to attend the service please, call 364-1937 between the hours of 9:00 -5:00 pm.
Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery following church service.
Flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
