Obituary
Shirley Linda Coffin (nee Croucher)- passed peacefully away on October 14th, 2022 at the Dr. L.A Miller Centre with her loving family by her side.
Leaving to mourn her devoted loving husband Winston of 56 years; her four sons: Winston Spencer (Judy), Darrell (Nancy), Lorne, and Bert; Shirley’s only daughter: Kim (Darrell Morgan) whom she resided with.
Shirley is predeceased by her parents: Myra and Frederick Croucher; father and mother-in-law: Cyril and Hazel Coffin. Also leaving to mourn her 8 grandchildren whom she loved dearly; Matthew, Kayla, Winston, Hilary, Cody, Cheyanne, Holly, and Emma; her 2 fur babies: Cotton and Pepper.
Special sister-in-law Margaret and brother Tom Croucher, who cared and helped the family so much through Shirley’s journey. Sisters: Brenda Tucker (Pat), Velma Rose (Wayne deceased); brothers: Freddie and Gerald Croucher. A very large circle of family friends, nieces, and nephews. A very special life-long friend of 52 years Barbara Moore.
Shirley and the family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Carla Saldanha, Dr. Popaduick and staff at the Cancer Clinic, community nurses who came and cared for Shirley at home especially Pam Hunt, so loving and caring and made Shirl smile through it all. Thank you to Dr. Hurley, Lori Cathy Cahill, Kim, and staff at the Palliative Care. Words can never express how thankful we are to everyone especially the prayer warriors.
No visitation, cremation has taken place at Shirley’s request. A memorial service and interment to be announced at a later date. Donations in Shirley’s memory can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
