Shirley Louise Marie Lang of Desboro, passed away at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Friday, August 26, 2022, in her 89th year.
Loving mother of Glen of Edmonton, Marlene (Donald) Walker of Kincardine, Elaine Lang of Port Elgin, Eric (Sandra), and Ellen Lang (Gerry Serrao), all of Desboro. Cherished grandmother of Jesse Lee, Nicole, Michael (Shannon), Mark, Colleen (Kevin), Amanda (Darryl), Jessica (Matt), Adam, and Keegan. She will be dearly missed by her great-grandchildren, Devon, Megan, Shailyne, Alexandra, Ava, Tucker, Tanner, Kole, Kendall, Brooklyn and great-great-granddaughter Rozalyn. Shirley will be fondly remembered by her sister Audrey Walker of Owen Sound and brother, Jerry (Cathy) Klages of Sault Ste. Marie. She was predeceased by her husband Armond (2014), brother-in-law Bernie Walker, her stepfather Bill Crigger and parents Ezra and Elsa (Guse) Klages.
Visitation will be held at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley on Tuesday from 7 – 9 p.m. A funeral service honouring Shirley’s life will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, Desboro on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at 1 p.m. Interment in Faith Lutheran Cemetery, Desboro.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Lutheran Laymen’s League of Canada, Home & Community Support Services (for Day Away Program), or Autism Ontario would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
