Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shirley Jean Mitchell-Molyneux, on March 21, 2022 at Haven Hill Care Home.
Jean was a life long-Naramata resident, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She is survived by her: sons, Ted (Misty), Tom (Penny); daughters Jenny, Wendy (Eric); her niece Sally; and grandchildren Allyson (Ryan), Nicholle, Dakota and Sierra. Predeceased by her loving husband Bill and sister June and many more extended family and countess loving friends.
Her career as a dedicated pharmacist of more than 50 years and an enthusiastic orchardist brought Jean joy. She was also a committed volunteer in her communities donating countless hours and an active member of the United Church.
Jean had the ability to make everyone feel like family with her generous and welcoming spirit. She gave the best hugs – one size fits all – and they will be sorely missed.
We wish to thank the amazing care givers of Haven Hill for all that they did for her and us. They will always be graciously remembered all that they did for her.
Service to be held at: Penticton United Church, 2 pm Sunday April10th, 2022 with refreshments following. The service will be available on zoom.
In lieu of flowers please send donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, and the Alzheimer Association of BC.
