Shirley Frances MacAulay 2022

We, the family of Shirley Frances MacAulay, regret to announce her passing on Friday, October 14, 2022, at the Northside General Hospital, North Sydney, NS.
Born December 1, 1933, in Sydney, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Thelma (Vatcher) Dicks.
Shirley is survived by her son, Ken MacAulay (Darlene); two daughters, Thelma MacAulay (Mike Hogan) and Audrey Barnes (Jimmy); sister, Joan Steele; brother, Robert Dicks (Margie); grandchildren, Chad MacAulay (Penny), James Barnes (Shailyn), Jessie MacAulay, Connor MacAulay and Spencer MacAulay; great-grandchildren, Saylor MacAulay, Poppy MacAulay, Navi MacAulay and Luna Barnes.
Our Mom was easily pleased by a few things in life; a cup of tea with a sweet and knitting, but most of all her family. She loved her family very much, and we are going to miss our daily chats. Something simple that we know brought her such joy.
Her family would like to thank the staff at the Northside Community Guest Home where for many years she enjoyed.
A private family graveside service will be held at Forest Haven Memorial Gardens.
Words of comfort can be sent to the family at www.sydneymemorialchapel.com
