It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Shirley at the Timmins and District Hospital on Monday, August 15, 2022 at the age of 92 years. Predeceased by her husband Ovila Carrière (1969). Loving mother of Late Glenn (Gisèle Robertson) and their daughter Bonnie, Barry (Monique) and their children Shawn (Kristin) and Crystal (Eric), Late Donna (Roger Drouin) and their children Donald, Philip and Ann, Late Richard, Douglas and his daughter Ashley (Nathan), Brian and his children, Kaylee, Taylor and Brandi, late Sandra, late Marc and his son Dean, Albert (Diane) and their children Kyle (Vayda) and Conor, Ovila (Nancy) and their daughter Jessica, MaryAnn (René Rocheleau) and their children Jessica (Keegan), Joshua (Iris), Jamie-Lee, Mathieu (Jessica) and Pascal (Roxanne). Cherished great grandmother of 15 great grandchildren. Also predeceased by her parents Albert & Gertrude Aikin as well as her brothers Russell and Warren Aikin. The family would like to express a special thank you to Anu and Nathalie at the hospice for their compassion and wonderful care.
As her Shirley’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. In her memory, remembrance donation to the Timmins & District Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins ON
