Passed away at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Monday March 28, 2022 at the age of 85, surrounded by family. Shirley Shoebridge of Ardtrea, beloved wife of the late Clarence Charles Shoebridge (1994). Treasured mother of the late Joan Clarke (Chris) of Orillia, Garry Shoebridge (Darlene) of Rugby, Brian Shoebridge (Wendy) of Stroud and Michael Shoebridge of Jackson’s Point. Proud Grandma of Diana Vacca (Adam), Steven Clarke (Erin), Graham Shoebridge (Kate), Douglas Shoebridge (Leah), Stacy Campbell (Ryan), Matthew Shoebridge, Brittany Shoebridge (Brandon), Jessica Camus (David) and Christopher Massey (Lisa). A cherished great grandmother to Jonathan and Alexander Vacca, Megan, Brianna and Liam Clarke, Tyler and Samuel Shoebridge, Lucas and Isla Shoebridge, Alana and Logan Campbell, Morgan Camus, and Dean and Zoey Massey. Dear life long friend of Joan Holdaway.
Predeceased by her mother Jessie MacDonald and brother Mervin Claus. Sister-in-law of Doreen Davies, Donald (Donna) Shoebridge; predeceased by Fred Davies, Gord (Edie) Shoebridge and Bob (Marg) Shoebridge. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Carson Funeral Homes – L. Doolittle Chapel, 54 Coldwater St. E Orillia (705) 326-3595 on Sunday April 3, 2022 from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. The family has requested that masks are to be optional during the visitation and funeral service.
A private family funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday April 4, 2022 at 11:00 am. Spring interment at Atherley Cemetery, Atherley.
If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Mariposa House Hospice would be appreciated.
