On June 26, 2022 Shelbie Marissa Mountain of Beaver Lake Cree Nation passed away at the age of 29 years. She is survived by her 2 children, Joel Tyler & Cassie Lea Martha Nantais-Mountain; mother, Roxanne Gladue-Ladouceur of Edmonton; brother, Christopher Gladue (Amanda) of Anzac; grandfather, Edward Ladouceur of Buffalo Lake; grandmother, Beverly (Lloyd) Jackson of Goodfish Lake; aunties, Cherie Ladouceur of Edmonton, Talisha Ladouceur & Taliya Ladouceur both of Buffalo Lake; uncles, Eddie Ladouceur & Isaiah Ladouceur both of Buffalo Lake & Stacy Mountain of Edmonton. Shelbie was predeceased by her grandfather, Donald Twin; great-grandparents, Prosper & Helen Ladouceur, Gabriel Gladue & Martha Boucher; uncles, Matthew Gladue & Robert Cardinal; many other uncles, aunties & cousins. A Wake will be held on Tuesday (leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.) & Wednesday, July 5 & 6 at Beaver Lake Multi-Purpose Building, Beaver Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Beaver Lake Multi-Purpose Building, Beaver Lake. Reverend Father Anselmo Landoy will be officiating, with interment in Beaver Lake Community Cemetery, Beaver Lake Cree Nation.
