Sheila Papple Monday February 14 2022

PAPPLE: Sheila
Sheila Papple (nee Scrimegour), in her 81st year, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday February 14, 2022. She was a beautiful soul who will be remembered for her genuine
interest, care, compassion, and support of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
She will be missed dearly by her children, Martin Papple of Goderich, Todd Papple (Vicki Glousher) of
Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, and Chad Papple (Lesley Ginn) of Lucan. Sheila is also survived by her
husband Bob of Goderich, mother Ferne Russo of Goderich, and brother Lanny Scrimegour (Pat) of
London. Cherished Gramma of Gracie, Keaton, and Andrew. Pre-deceased by her special
granddaughter, Ella (2004), and her step-father Rosario Russo (1999). Also fondly remembered by
nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
Sheila was born in Goderich, moved for a period to Buffalo, NY, and returned to Goderich where she
would settle, start her family, and remain for the rest of her time on earth.
She was very active in her community, volunteering with youth sports, school, and community events; and many will remember
Sheila from her years working with TD Canada Trust in Goderich where she made many lifelong friends,
and truly enjoyed meeting and speaking with members of the community every day.
A private celebration of life ceremony and interment at Maitland Cemetery will take place in the
springtime.
As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Alexandra Marine General Hospital Foundation,
or a charity special to you, would be appreciated.
