It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to a cherished mother, sister, aunt, grandma and great grandma. Passed away at St Joseph’s hospital 1 day after her 91st birthday. Much loved wife and best friend of the late Donald (2013) for 63 years. Sheila and Donald met at Westinghouse in 1948. Predeceased by her firstborn son, her brothers Muir & David, sister Irene and her two brothers-in-law Doug and Walt. Survived and will be greatly missed by her dear sister Mildred with whom they shared a special lifelong bond, her three children, Gordon, Patrice (Roy) and Donna (Guy), grandchildren Jennifer (Phil), Ryan (Lisa), Mark (Shawna), Laura and Liane, and great grandchildren Bryson, Merrick, Trevor & Kaela.
Sheila was surrounded by a wonderful group of caring professionals. Words cannot express the gratitude for the love and care given by Tammy, Rolyn, Christine, Emma, Dr. Boyle and Kathleen. A memorial visitation will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Rd East, Hamilton ON, L8W 3M2 on Saturday May 7, 2022 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm with a memorial service to follow in the Chapel.
