1956-2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of
Sheila Joye Conley(Stuart) on January 25, 2022 at the age of 65.
Sheila was the wife of the late Brian Conley of Rollingdam, NB. Born
in Charlotte County Hospital on August 15, 1956, she was the daughter
of Joyce(Percy) and the late James Stuart of Deer Island, New
Brunswick. She is survived by her mother: Joyce Stuart; her two
brothers: James of Deer Island and Steven(Diane) of Moncton; daughter:
Christa Parent(Larry); grandchildren: Marckus and Marcie all
of Saint John; close friend: Tammy McCrum as well as many cousins,
nieces, and nephews.
Sheila graduated from ECRS, in St. George in 1975. She and
Brian were married on Deer Island on May 26, 1979 and enjoyed a 42
year marriage prior to Brian’s death in 2021. They enjoyed many years
spent at their camp going four-wheeling and taking part in different
activities at McDougall Lake.
During her lifetime, Sheila co-owned a bake shop and most
recently retired from providing home support to her many clients. She
was a member of the Lords Cove Church of Christ and also Granite
Chapter 15 of OES St. George.
At Sheila’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral
service. She will be buried in Mount Hope Cemetery on Deer Island at a
later date. For those who wish, donations can be made to Ability New
Brunswick or donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the care of the
St. George Funeral Home.
