Obituary
Sheila Ann Rigby (née Storey) was born on September 1, 1943, in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, three months premature and weighing only three pounds. She died on November 1, 2022, at the age of 79 from progression of LAM disease in her lungs.
Sheila was predeceased by her first husband Dr. Roderick Wheatley and her parents Madeline and John Storey. She is survived by her two sons Cameron (Kari) and Clayton (Michelle); her second husband Frank Rigby and his two sons John (Linda) and Chris ( Sandra); as well as five grandchildren Amanda, Alexandra, Paul, Laura, and Sarah; and two great-grandchildren River and Sawyer.
Following high school, Sheila was a teacher of Scottish Highland Dancing and an employee of a small oil company. She met Roderick Wheatly in England and married in 1966. Following his death, she met and married Frank Rigby in 1986. Sheila spent many years working with Paramed companies providing services to life insurance companies. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Cathedral (219 18 Ave SW) followed by a reception at St. Mary’s Parish Hall.
