Obituary of Sharon Rose Hunter
The passing of Sharon Rose Hunter of Richibucto Road, NB , wife of the late Wayne Hunter, occurred on December 15, 2022 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 16, 1948 in Fredericton , NB , she was the daughter of the late Arnold and Rita (Foster) Lint. Sharon worked at the Skyline Hotel for many years. She was involved with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4 Fredericton . She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting, knitting, stock car racing and spending time with her family.
Sharon is survived by her son, Robert Hamilton (Betty) of Fredericton, Jerry Hamilton (Rachel) of Penniac and Dwayne Hamilton of Fredericton; brothers, Nelson Lint of Tracy, Philip Lint (Janet) of Saint John, Otis Lint of Woodstock and Stephen Lint of Durham Bridge; sisters Mary Lint of Saint John, Tammy Lint of Saint John and Eleanor Lint of Woodstock; grandchild, Shelby Hamilton; great grandchildren Scarlet-Rose, Stella and Hudson; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her, son Carl and many brothers.
Visitation will be held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Dr. Fredericton , NB on Thursday December 22, 2022 from 12-2pm followed by the Funeral Service at 2 pm with Rev. Mike Trail officiating. Interment will take place in the Astle Community Cemetery , at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be New Brunswick Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
