Sharon Victoria Johnson
1951-2022
It is with great sadness the family of Sharon Victoria
(Davison) Johnson, age 71, of York, PE, announce her passing in the
QEII-V.G. Site, Halifax, on Friday, December 9, 2022. Born in
Wolfville, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (Smith)
Davison. Sharon is survived and will be deeply missed by her husband,
James “Bill” Johnson; sons, Richard Tracey (Crystal Kerby),
London, ON; and Gerald (Tara) Russell, York, PE; daughters, Lisa
(Frank) Bezanson, Waterville; and Darcie Snyder (Clayton Allen),
Greenwich; stepsons, Peter Russell, BC; Jeffrey (Wendy) Russell,
Kelowna, BC; Michael Johnson, Vancouver, BC; and Jamie (Crystal)
Johnson, Saskatoon, SK; brothers, Nathan (Greta) Davison, Abbotsford,
BC; and Bruce Davison, Melanson; sisters, Debbie Seary, Windsor; and
Nancy (Michael) McMullin, Wallbrook; grandchildren, Mark (Lisa),
Kerrie, Leigh, Eva, Isabelle, Abigail, Robbie, Austin, Liberty, Troy,
Adam and Eric; as well as many nieces, nephews, 6 great grandchildren
and many extended family. Sharon was very involved in Kentville minor
hockey for over 30 years. She was also involved in the early stages of
the New Minas soccer tournaments. She was a great crafter. She loved
to paint, make blankets and wreaths. In addition to her parents, she
was predeceased by Marjorie Davison (sister in law) and sister,
Virginia (Victor) Brown. Cremation has taken place. In keeping with
Sharon’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral
service. A celebration of her life will take place on Thursday,
December 15, 2022 at the Windsor Legion (35 Empire Lane, Windsor, Nova
Scotia) from 2pm-4pm. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian
Cancer Society. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the
White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville. Online
