Obituary
After a brief illness at home, it is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Sharon Hanlon, age 62, on Friday, January 7, 2022 in the arms of her husband. Born on August 22, 1959, in Saint John, New Brunswick; Sharon was the daughter of the late Betty (Brown) and Ted Hanlon, and the mother of the late Krystal Lawson (Hanlon).
Sharon is survived by the love of her life, husband John Stephen of Saint John, her Grand-son Robert Hanlon, Grand-daughters Emily Stephen, Carey Murphy; Brothers Don (Louise) Hanlon of Burton and Dave (Susan) Hanlon of Oromocto, Dan Stephen of Moncton, Becky Stephen, Bo Stephen, Linda (Louger) Léger of Saint John and Wendy (Jim) Harnden of Pickering On. She is also survived by children Jay (Alyssa) Stephen, Jessica Stephen; best friend Janelle Maine; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Sharon was employed with the KV Atlantic Superstore as a cashier where her upbeat, caring personality always brought a smile to her customers and co-workers alike.
At her request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Sharon and John’s request that you remember her with a laugh in the air and a smile on your face.
Donations in her memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society as well as to a food bank near you.
