Obituary
Sharon Pearl Larsen, 85 years old, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2022 after a lengthy battle with Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
She was a resident of Tudor Manor in Okotoks, Alberta. Sharon was born on May 26, 1936, the oldest child born to Grace and Jones Myer in Wainwright, Alberta. She married Eric Larsen in 1954 and together they lived in many towns in Alberta as Eric worked in the Oil Patch and the family moved often, finally settling in Turner Valley.
Sharon is survived by her younger brother, Brian Myer, of Turner Valley and her children, Lawrence Larsen of Simi Valley, California and Lance Larsen of Breton, Alberta and Leanne Larsen of High River, Alberta. She was predeceased by her husband, Eric Larsen and her brother Larry Myer of Red Deer and her daughters, Laura Larsen of Turner Valley and Lola Larsen of Okotoks.
Sharon liked to travel throughout Alberta in her younger years and enjoyed raising her five children and sharing in the growth of her nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She loved to play different card games, spend hours on jigsaw puzzles and one of her biggest thrills was hollering “BINGO!” at a local Bingo hall
