Passed away in the presence of her loving family at the Miller Centre, St. John’s, on Monday, October 24, 2022, Sharon Molloy (nee Kielly), of Peter’s River, St. Mary’s Bay, aged 67 years.
Predeceased by parents Kathleen & Patrick Kielly, brother Brian Kielly, parents-in-law Monica & David Molloy and brother-in-law Donald Molloy.
Leaving to mourn her devoted husband of 45 years Patrick “Paddy”, sons Dale (Jackie), Justin (Ashley) and Sheldon (Jillian), her precious grandchildren: Destani, Cameron, Aria, Myles and Cody, sister Carol Anne (Roger) Gibbons, brothers Adrian (Marilyn) Kielly and Calvin (Eleanor) Kielly; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law of the Molloy family, especially Regina, as well as many nieces & nephews and a long list of loving extended family and friends.
A special thank you is extended to the doctors, nurses and other medical practitioners who provided care and comfort to Mom over the years, especially Dr. Thomas McGarry, Dr. Patti Power, Dr. Carla Saldamha, Barb O’Driscoll, Cathy Cahill and the staff at Palliative Care.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Gibbons’ Funeral Home, St. Mary’s, on Thursday, October 27, from 2 – 4pm; 6 – 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 28, at 11am, at Sacred Heart Church, St. Vincent’s. Burial to follow.
