Dorothy, age 95, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2022, in Kelowna, BC. Although Dorothy was born in Saskatchewan, she lived in British Columbia all of her adult life, including in Steveston and Chilliwack; she came to the Okanagan in 2014. Dorothy was passionate about dogs and committed to competing in Dog Sports, she trained many breeds. Dorothy and her dogs earned many high awards and much recognition in the dog competition community.
Dorothy will be missed dearly by her family: her daughter Lynn (Gerry) Stehle and son Jim Kelly Severn; her granddaughter Brianne Severn; and her brother Harry (Betty) Hudson.
A Private Family Service was held to honour Dorothy.
