Obituary
It is with tremendous sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our cherished husband, father, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend on Friday, November 11, 2022. Sean George Pardy age 56 years.
Predeceased by his father Neil Pardy; grandparents: Ralph and Ena Sweetapple and George and Mamie Pardy; parents-in-law: Jack and Anne White and brother-in-law: Gordon White.
Leaving with wonderful memories, laughter and our hearts full of love his devoted wife of 27 years, the true love of his life Patricia (nee White); his son and best friend Andrew; his cherished mother Doris Pardy, whom he enjoyed his nightly chats with; brothers: Brian (Judy) and Blair (Lori); in-laws: Jerome (Lenora), Ron (Lisa), Junior, Tina Power, Phyllis (Danny) Brenton, Shirley (Ed) Walsh, Florence (Gordon) Hynes, Helen (Gerry) Walsh and Ruby (Tom) Kean; his hunting and fishing friends that brought so much joy, laughter and many stories; Phil, Dan, Randy, Rick and Jeff; childhood friend who was a true friend Peter Martin; Lisa Mahaney, his administrative assistant from Eastern Health, and all other colleagues he cherished your friendship for the last 31 years. Also, nieces, nephews, and a large circle of friends.
Our family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Sean’s family doctor, Dr. Jamison Mercer, the Ambulatory Treatment Unit, the doctors, nurses and all the staff of HSC 4NA, who have shown us such compassion and care. We would like to also thank our employers of Eastern Health and Scotia Wealth Management for your endless, support, understanding and patience over the last 5 years. We appreciate everything you have done for both Sean and Patricia.
We will always remember Sean with laughter and kindness, he was always laughing, making people smile and enjoying life to the fullest with his tremendous sense of humor. Through his 31 years with Eastern Health, Sean was well respected and liked by his co workers developing great friendships. Since 2014 Sean enjoyed operating his home fishing business RCS Tackle Co, he developed with his best friend and son Andrew. Anything out doors made Sean happy and at peace.
At Sean’s request cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022 328 Hamilton Ave. from 2:00 -4:00 pm and 6:00 -9:00 pm. The family kindly requests masks be worn to attend the visitation. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 10:30am from Barrett’s Memorial Chapel, 328 Hamilton Ave. Family and Close Friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sean’s memory to The Canadian Blood Services or Cancer Care Newfoundland, Health Science Centre.
