Obituary of Scott Roderick Williamson

My beautiful son, Scott Roderick Williamson, passed away unexpectedly on January 19, 2022, the day after he celebrated his 44 birthday. He had a kind, gentle, and sweet soul, which was full of love for his brother, Jeff and Ryan, and also had a special place in that heart for his three nieces, Noelle, Caimbree and Meira.
He will be dearly missed by Jodi and Joann, his Aunt Barb, Uncle Rick and Glen, as well as his many cousins.
Scott was a very special person with tremendous courage and strength, who dealt with many mental and physical issues throughout his life but never complained about the challenges he faced. He was an exceptionally gifted graffiti artist, as well as a dedicated and hard-working employee with Seven-Eleven Stores for more than fourteen years. He adored his cat Josie, who was his dedicated companion for almost nineteen years. He had a very special place in my life, as we took vacations together every year and enjoyed Baseball Spring Training one year with his brothers in Phoenix, Arizona. We spoke on the phone every day and went to lunch two to three times every week to catch up on each others’ lives.
Scott was a compassionate and caring son, who shared his love of family at every opportunity. His brothers and I will miss him dearly. I will never forget the special father and son bond we shared through a much too short life. I will miss you Scott and hope that you can rest peacefully in heaven with your mother.

I was very sad to hear the news of Scott’s passing. We were friends at FEO in the 90s but I left Alberta after 9th grade and lost touch. My condolences to the family. Gone far too soon.
