Scott passed away suddenly and unexpectedly January 11th, 2022 shortly after his 63rd birthday.
Beloved father of Zack and Jake of whom he was so proud.
Sadly missed by “his girl, his love” Lisa.
He will be forever loved and cherished by his sisters: Heather (Reg), Lynn and Colleen (Jeff).
Dear Uncle to Taylor (Shane) and their daughter Lilah, Olivia, Miranda (Bart) and their children: Henry & Sophia.
He was happily retired after working 40 years for Brewers Retail. He had positions with UFCW local 12R24 where he helped many of his Brewery brothers.
Scott served on the board of directors of Waterloo Regional boxing academy for many years.
He was an avid outdoorsman. Enjoying hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, ATVing, and exploring countless trails with Lisa and his devoted dog Shadow.
A man who seized every opportunity for adventure- skydiving, ziplining, helicopter flight lessons and hitting the open road on his motorcycle or restored 1978 MGB.
Scott was a self taught jack of all trades “MacGyver” to many.
He was a pillar and protector for his family and those he considered family. His door was always open for advice, a laugh, a drink, a bed or a meal.
Above all else he will be remembered for his high moral standards and values, his generosity, his many strengths, his kindness, his charm and witt.
“We are all travelers in the wilderness of this world and the best that we find in our travels is the honest friend”.
– Robert Louis Stevenson
