SCHUMANN Peter Robert May 13 1951 — August 27 2022

SCHUMANN, Peter Robert
May 13, 1951 — August 27, 2022
Peter Schumann passed away August 27, 2022, at his home on the mountain. Peter was born on May 13, 1951 in Adelaide, South Australia. He was the son of Desmond Schumann – the Australian who bought Big White in 1985 and, with Peter, shaped the resort into what it is today. Peter served as the president and “family representative” at Big white until his retirement in 2014. His nephew, Peter Plimmer, took over as president and remains in that position today. Peter leaves behind his beloved wife, Nada, and children: Paul, Lara, Jessica, and Jarrah. He is also survived by his two sisters, Elizabeth Plimmer and Jane Cann.
