It is with great sadness we regret Sarah Robertson (née Mains) of London, Ontario, succumbed to cancer at Victoria Hospital, peacefully on Friday, April 1, 2022. Born in 1946 in Bargeddie, Scotland, Sarah immigrated to Canada in 1968.
Beloved wife of Alex Robertson. Dear sister and best friend of the late Isabel (2020) and Peter (2012) Jenniskens of Wyoming, Ontario. Beloved sister to Andrena (Jim) McAdam of Coatbridge, Scotland, and the late Jesse (the late Syd) Fraser of Bargeddie, Scotland. Auntie Sadie to many nieces and nephews in Canada and Scotland. Sarah was predeceased by parents Andrew and Agnes Mains and sister Dorothy and Jesse, all of Scotland. Sarah will also be lovingly remembered by her step-children Blair (Mary), Scott, Lori (Bill) and special grandson Matthew.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 between 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where a memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, April 23rd, 2022 at 12:15 p.m. Reception to follow.
