Obituary
Passed peacefully away at her residence in Green’s Harbour, surrounded by her loving family, Josie Hillier, WWII Veteran, in her 100th year.
Predeceased by her husband John; parents Robert and Annie Crocker; brothers Jacob and Walter; and sisters Beatrice and Ella.
Leaving to mourn and celebrate her long life with thanksgiving are her loving children Ted (Roxanne), Madonna (Don), Betty (Max), Hughie (Shona), Barbara (Tony), Calvin (Louise), Bonnie (Derrick), and Wendy (Billy); 22 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and a very large circle of nieces, nephew, other relatives, and many friends.
Visitation will be held from Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo, on December 27, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm.
A family service to celebrate Josie’s life will be held from Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo, on December 28, 2022 at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at St. Matthew’s Anglican Cemetery, Green’s Harbour.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Josie’s memory may be made to the St. Matthew’s Anglican Cemetery Fund, Green’s Harbour.
