1932-2022
Sara LeBlanc, 90, of Villa du Repos Inc Moncton and formerly of
Notre-Dame, passed away peacefully at the Villa du Repos, on Monday,
December 19, 2022. She was married to the late René LeBlanc
(1998). Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, she was the daughter of the
late Alyre and the late Marguerite (Allain) Allain.
Sara was an elementary school teacher in Kent County for more than 30
years. She was also a member of the charismatic group for 30
years.
She will be sadly missed by her three children: Marie-Paule
LeBlanc-Kelly (Lt Col Paul Kelly) of Lower Sackville, NS, Catherine
Goguen (Roger) of Ottawa, and Normand LeBlanc (Paulette) of Moncton,
as well as one grandson, Gabriel and one great grandson, Noah. She
also leaves to mourn her, two sisters: Irène LeBlanc of Moncton,
Alma Lowthers (Dennis) of Medford, MA, one sister-in-law, Edith Allain
of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by five sisters: Eva, Corinne, Anita, Edith and
Marie-Thérèse, and one brother, Iroi.
Visitations will be held at Notre-Dame du Sacré-Coeur Roman
Catholic Church Slumber Room, Notre-Dame, on Wednesday January 4, 2023
from 1:30 to 3:45 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the
Notre-Dame Church on January 4, 2023 at 4:00 pm with interment in the
parish cemetery in the spring.
In Sara’s memory, donations may be made to the Notre-Dame du
Sacré-Coeur parish.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
