Sandra Francis Hachey, aged 54, of Moncton, NB, passed away
peacefully on June 25th, 2022, surrounded by
family at Albert House Hospice, after a 5-year battle with
cancer. Sandy was born on June 14, 1968, in
Toronto, Ontario, but lived most of her life in
Moncton.
Sandy was truly the life of the family. She was
game for anything and was always looking to book our next adventure.
She was a second mom to Sarah Hachey-Dole, and loved her little dog,
Tiguan. Sandy was able to achieve her lifelong dream of
owning and operating a bakery. “Top Tier Cakes”
was a huge success. She was very talented and made the most
amazing specialty cakes and cupcakes. She especially loved
organizing family gatherings, and spent hours planning activities for
the kids and adults alike. Sandy was taken from us far too
soon and will be missed dearly by family and friends.
Sandy is survived by her sisters, Nancy Payne (Steve), Noreen
Hachey (Brenda), her brother, Wayne Hachey (Shelley); her nieces and
nephews, Michael, Kelly, Kaylie, Jennifer, Abby, and Sarah, as well
as, many grand-nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her
mom and dad, Clara and Edmond Hachey, and her sister, Susan
Hachey.
There will be no funeral service. A family
graveside service is planned. A “Celebration of
Life” will be held at a later date for family and
friends.
