Sandra Margaret Murphy – 75, Valley, passed away
Tuesday evening, November 22, 2022. Born in Truro, she was the
daughter of the late Carl and Rhoda (Walker) Ferris.
Sandra was a member of St. John’s Anglican Church,
Truro, where she was a member of Princess Mary Guild. After
retirement, she devoted her life to volunteer work with Cedarstone
Enhanced Care, Colchester East Hants Hospice Society and visiting at
the Palliative Care Unit which was a program through the Hospice
Society.
Sandra is survived by her husband, William “Bill”
Murphy.
Private interment will be held in Pine Grove Cemetery, East
Stewiacke. If so desired, donations in Sandra’s memory to
Colchester East Hants Hospice Society, Alzheimer Society of Nova
Scotia or St. John’s Anglican Church are
welcomed.
